A man from Bognor Regis has been awarded compensation after suffering a severe brain injury in a road traffic accident. 21-year-old Josh Humphrey suffered the ‘catastrophic’ injuries five years ago when he was involved in a car accident in his friend’s vehicle. A 25-year-old man has been given a suspended prison sentence after pleading guilty to dangerous driving that caused a three-car collision. The reckless driver said that he had been trying to keep up with his boss on the way to a work outing when he overtook on a blind summit. A woman has blamed doctors for the death of her partner after they allowed him to leave hospital with head injuries that later killed him. Darren Roberts had been in a serious car accident, but was allowed to leave hospital only one hour after he was submitted. The father-of-one died the following day (6th of December). After a rally car spun off the track into a crowd of spectators at the Regency Stages Rally in Somerset, four people have been injured. The accident occurred at the Royal Bath and West Showground in Shepton Mallet, where the one-day event took place. In December of last year, a four-year-old girl was tragically killed after her grandmother failed to see the dim warning lights at a level crossing. The car, in which Emma Lifsey was a passenger, collided with the train at Beech Hill Crossing in Nottinghamshire on the 4th of December.
